Matt LaBranche is in his 11th year as the Head Baseball Coach and Instructor of Physical Education at Western New England College. He has graduate and undergraduate degrees in Physical Education from Springfield College. While at Springfield he played catcher for the Pride baseball team for four seasons. He led the team in hitting his senior year with an impressive .385 average. His teams won two conference titles during his playing days, and he was named the College Scholar-Athlete of the Year his senior season. Matt has also worked as an assistant coach at the University of Massachusetts, Springfield College, and American International College. He also served as Associate Head Coach in the Northeast Collegiate Baseball League and as an assistant in the Cape Cod League with Chatham A's.
Mark Simeone is in his 14th year as the Head Baseball Coach and Assistant Professor of Physical Education at Springfield College. He has both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Springfield College in Health Fitness and Physical Education, respectively. Following his playing career at Springfield, Simeone played professionally in Canada in the New Brunswick Senior Baseball League. One of his teammates was former Boston Red Sox pitcher Rick Wise. Prior to his appointment at Springfield College, Simeone was the Head Baseball Coach for four years at American International College and spent two years each as an assistant coach at Springfield and at Amherst College. Throughout his playing and coaching career, Simeone has had extensive experience in camp instruction in New England and Canada.
